Katharine Rushton

Katharine has worked in clean energy since 2003, first as a building energy analyst and for the past 11 years in the solar energy industry. Katharine has extensive experience working with municipalities, special districts and larger commercial entities in overcoming the financial and technical barriers to solar photovoltaic project development and is well versed in financing mechanisms and utility rate structures. Katharine has earned certifications from both BPI and NABCEP and is nearing completion of an MBA in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency from the Beuth University of Applied Science in Berlin, Germany. In her current role at Clean Energy Economy for the Region, she applies her knowledge and experience to advancing the adoption of renewable energy technologies to help meet carbon emission reduction goals.
