Catherine is an enthusiastic trainer who takes pride in keeping her students engaged. She holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and is an advocate of STEM. This has led to her winning several awards including the Fortune and Goldman Sachs global Award:  2012, the Women in Energy Professional Technical, 2017 and The Business Daily’s Top 40 under 40 women in 2012 and 2008. Catherine is a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Manager of Organizational Excellence and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She is currently the Business Process Improvement and Innovation Manager at KenGen, where she is a member of the Good to Great Innovation Council. She was the first Chair of Pink Energy (KenGen’s Women Development Program). In August 2020, Catherine was the overall winner of the KenGen G2G Innovation Seminar for an idea proposal made on Battery Energy Storage Systems. She is a founding member of WISEe.
