Agatha Ankunda is an energy Practitioner with over 7 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector. She holds a post graduate degree in renewable energy technologies and Sustainable business. She’s currently working on a research project that endeavors to manage waste from PV systems to ensure circular economy in the solar sector.
Leveraging the knowledge and expertise from working directly in the solar industry and with specific knowledge and trainings in PV system design, installation and management from GIZ (Training of Trainers program) and Remote Energy (Aspire Educator program) she’s empowered to transfer the knowledge to women and youth in capacity building programs in order to bridge the gender gap in the energy sector in Uganda ensuring a just, equitable and inclusive energy transition.
